Contract: Full-time, Long-term Temporary
Teach Now is recruiting an enthusiastic Early Years Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Barnet. The school has a well-established Early Years provision where purposeful play, exploration and strong adult-child relationships are at the heart of learning.
You will take responsibility for a Reception class, working alongside experienced teaching assistants and the wider EYFS team. The environment is well resourced, with opportunities for both indoor and outdoor learning, and the school places particular emphasis on communication, early literacy and helping children develop confidence and independence.
The successful teacher will be expected to plan engaging learning opportunities in line with the EYFS framework, assess children’s development and build positive relationships with families.
Requirements- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Recent EYFS or Reception teaching experience.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- Confident understanding of early phonics and language development.
- Ability to identify and support children with additional learning needs.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
- Create a warm, stimulating and well-organised classroom.
- Use observations and assessment effectively to inform planning.
- Encourage curiosity, independence and positive behaviour.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other EYFS practitioners.
- Communicate confidently with parents and carers.
- A supportive and experienced Early Years team.
- Well-resourced indoor and outdoor learning spaces.
- Friendly pupils and an inclusive school community.
- Strong leadership and opportunities for professional development.
Salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
