Teach Now is working with a supportive Barnet primary school seeking an ECT to join its teaching team from September. The school has a collaborative approach to planning and places genuine importance on staff development, making this a strong opportunity for a newly qualified teacher looking to establish themselves in KS1 or KS2.
You will work alongside experienced parallel teachers, receive regular guidance and have access to structured mentoring and professional development.
Requirements- QTS achieved through an accredited UK teacher-training route.
- Suitable for an Early Career Teacher completing their induction.
- Secure understanding of the primary National Curriculum.
- Strong lesson planning, assessment and classroom-management skills.
- Commitment to providing inclusive and engaging learning.
- Be reflective and open to coaching and feedback.
- Have high expectations for pupil progress and behaviour.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families.
- Bring enthusiasm, creativity and fresh ideas to the classroom.
- Be committed to developing professionally throughout the placement.
- Support from experienced teachers and senior leaders.
- A structured and supportive induction environment.
- Collaborative planning with colleagues in the same phase.
- Well-behaved pupils who respond positively to engaging teaching.

Salary is dependent on experience and position on the relevant teacher pay scale.
Pay in line with the Agency Worker Regulations (AWR) meaning you will be paid equally to a permanent employee.
