Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant who is confident stepping up to lead learning?
Teach Now is working with a supportive primary school in Barnet seeking a capable HLTA to provide high-quality classroom support across KS1 and KS2.
This role would suit someone who enjoys variety. One day you may be leading an intervention group, the next supporting a class teacher or delivering a pre-planned lesson during PPA or staff absence.
Responsibilities
Deliver learning activities and pre-planned lessons.
Provide class cover when required.
Lead small-group interventions.
Support pupils who need additional academic or SEN support.
Promote positive behaviour and pupil engagement.
Provide useful feedback to teachers on pupil progress.
Requirements
HLTA qualification/status or substantial experience working at HLTA level.
Good knowledge of the primary curriculum.
Experience supporting KS1 and/or KS2 pupils.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Confidence working independently when required.
