- Support pupils within a Year 5 classroom on a one-to-one and small-group basis
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
- Support pupils with literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum activities
- Help prepare classroom resources and learning materials
- Encourage pupil engagement, confidence, and independence
- Promote positive behaviour and attitudes towards learning
- Support pupils with varying learning needs to access the curriculum successfully
- Previous experience working with primary-aged children is desirable
- Experience with in a school or educational setting is advantageous
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, caring, and adaptable approach
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Understanding of Key Stage 2 learning and development
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
