  • A calm, patient, resilient and nurturing approach.
  • A genuine passion for supporting pupils with complex SEND needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting pupils aged approximately 7–14 with their learning, communication and emotional development.
  • Delivering tailored 1:1 and small‑group support in line with individual learning plans and EHCP targets.
  • Supporting pupils with varying levels of autism‑related support needs, adapting strategies to individual requirements.
  • Assisting with personal care where required, ensuring pupils' dignity, safety and wellbeing are maintained.
  • Supporting sensory regulation, positive behaviour and successful transitions throughout the school day.
  • Working closely with teachers, therapists and other support staff to create a structured, inclusive learning environment.
  • Encouraging independence, confidence and the development of essential life skills.

In return, you can expect:

  • A rewarding, long‑term opportunity within a specialist SEND environment.
  • Competitive daily rates reflective of your experience.
