IT School Support Technician

The right person will be responsible for providing first-line technical support, and ensuring that staff and students can use technology effectively and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide first-line and second-line technical support to staff and students
Install, configure, and maintain hardware (PCs, laptops, tablets, printers, interactive whiteboards)
Support assistive technologies used by students with SEN
Troubleshoot audio-visual equipment in classrooms and meeting spaces
Contribute to IT development projects and digital strategy

Essential Criteria :

An ability to start immediately - or no later than in 2 weeks time!
Experience in an IT support role (ideally within an education setting)
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users
Understanding of safeguarding and data protection principles
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
