School Cleaner

About The Role

We are looking for a Cleaner to support operational cover across our sites. This is a zero‑hours cleaning role. No minimum hours are guaranteed, and shifts will be offered based on business needs. Use your flexibility to accept or decline shifts offered.

Hourly Rate: £12.71

Location: Barnet, EN4 0NJ

• Full learning and support from Atlas: on‑the‑job training, toolbox talks and discussions with your Supervisor/Manager about opportunities within the business.

• Dedicate your time on site to going the extra mile and seamlessly meeting the needs of Atlas’ clients.
• Be inducted at the start of your contract and receive training within your first week of work. Learn how to deliver the cleaning specification and use the equipment.
• Provide a high standard of customer care through your focus across different shift hours.
• Handle site‑based equipment and cleaning materials (full training will be provided).
• Replenish consumables such as paper towels, soap, toilet paper, and bin liners.
• Empty all litter bins into appropriate waste and recycling containers.
• Ensure cleaning is completed to the highest standards at all times.
• Maintain Health and Safety standards at all times.
• Work within a team that goes the extra mile.

• An attitude to thrive, and cleaning experience (although we can fully train you from scratch if you match our positive and thoughtful approach). A passion for it would be amazing!
• Ability to carry out the physical aspects of the role.
• A basic level of spoken English for communication on safety and confidence communicating with members of the public and the management team at our client’s site.
• Good social skills to deliver service with a smile.
• A right to work in the UK (please bring your evidence to the interview) – this applies to both UK and Non‑UK Nationals.
• Two satisfactory references are required as part of the recruitment process for this role.
• The role requires a DBS/enhanced DBS check.
