GP Receptionist needed in Barnsley
We are currently seeking an experienced GP Receptionist to support a busy and friendly GP practice, on a locum basis until the end of March.
Location:
Barnsley, S70
System: EMIS
Rate: £14 per hour (PAYE)
Contract:
Locum - Until end of March
Hours:
8:00am - 6:30pm (30-minute break) - some flexibility available
- Front desk reception duties
- Booking and managing appointments
- Handling patient enquiries (face-to-face and telephone)
- Processing prescriptions and administrative tasks
- Supporting clinicians and practice team as required
- Previous GP reception experience (essential)
- EMIS system experience (essential)
- Valid NHS Smartcard (essential)
- Confident managing a busy workload
- Professional, friendly and patient-focused approach
This is a great opportunity for an experienced medical receptionist looking for consistent locum work within a supportive practice environment.
