What Youll Be Doing Asakeyleaderwithinthe Trade&Commercial team,youwilldrivestrategicpartnershipswithcustomers,carriers,and suppliers,leveragingyourexpertisetonegotiatecompetitiveagreementsandshapepricingstrategiesthatmaximizeprofitabilityandmarketshare. Yourrolewillinclude:
Leadstrategicprocurementinitiativesacross
RFQs,long-termrateagreements,andpricingframeworkstosecurecompetitivepositioningandprofitability. Owncarriernegotiationsandrelationshipmanagement,buildingstrategicpartnershipsthatdeliverlong-termvalueandalignwithbusinessobjectives. Defineandmaintainthecompanyspricingstructure,ensuringconsistencyandmarketcompetitivenessacrossalltradelanes. Developandimplementoperationalroutingstrategiesalignedwithcommercialobjectives,optimisingtradeflowsandcostefficiency. Provideoperationalteamswithclearcarrieroptionsandroutingguidance,enablingefficientandcost-effective bookings. Support Key Account Directors (KAD) andKey Account Managers (KAM) withtailoredtradesolutionsandactionablecommercialinsights. Ensurecompliancewithcompanypricingguidelines,maintainingaccuracyandalignmentwithstrategicgoals. Strengthensupplierandcarrierpartnershipsthroughhigh-level negotiations,fosteringcollaborationandlong-termvaluecreation. Enhanceorganisationalcapacityandresiliencetosupportfuturegrowthandmarketleadershipfollowingrecentteamchanges. Championcontinuousimprovementbyleveragingdatainsightsandmarketintelligencetorefineprocurementprocessesanddrivemarginimprovement. What Youll Bring Werelookingforsomeonewhosnotjustexperienced,butpassionateaboutlogistics.
Youllneed:
Industryandoperationalknowledgeof Ocean/Sea freight-inbound,outbound,andcrosstrade. Anunderstandingofhowtoinfluencetheprofitabilitythrougheffectivepricingispreferred. Provenabilitytodeliverhigh-qualityserviceataseniorlevel Asharpeyefordetailandunderstandingofitscommercialimpact. Abilitytoworkunderpressureandmeettightdeadlines. Strongnumericalandcommercialacumen. Excellentcommunicationskillsbothwrittenandverbal. Experiencecommunicatingwithexternalstakeholdersandsuppliersispreferred Confidenceusing Microsoft Officeand Windows systems (Cargowiseexperienceisaplus).
