Part-Time Children’s Social Worker – Team: MASH/Screening Team,

Location:

Barnsley. Rate: £35. Details: 22.5 hours per week, hybrid working arrangements (currently 2 days in the office and 1 day WFH each week). The post is to cover maternity leave and is due to end June 2026.

• DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work
• Social Work England registration
• Enhanced and in-date DBS certificate
• Excellent communication skills and ability to make good decisions based on available information
• Ability to work alone and within/contribute to a team/multi-agency setups
• Knowledge of service needs
• Competent IT skills and ability to navigate electronic file/recording systems
• Ability to write clear, concise, and robust assessment/reports/files
• Flexible approach to work and working hours when the need arises

• Candidates must have prior experience with Integrated Front Door/MASH to be put forward
• Prior experience of working within a sign of safety framework and using Mosaic is preferred
