Electrical Estimator - Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Estimator to join my clients growing team.

We are looking for a motivated individual with at least 2 years' experience within an electrical contracting environment to support the costing and delivery of industrial, commercial, and residential projects.

The ideal candidate will have some familiarity with estimating software and a general working knowledge of Amtech estimating, PDF viewers, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Additional training will be provided where required.

• Accurately determining the quantity, type, and cost of materials and fixtures for each project
• Estimating labour requirements to ensure efficient project delivery
• Assessing project profitability to support informed bidding decisions
• Preparing and submitting competitive tenders in line with company guidelines
• Maintaining and updating cost databases to reflect current material and labour rates
• Collaborating with colleagues in a primarily office-based environment
