Permanent Civil Site Engineer – Barnsley
Salary: £45,000-£50,000
We're recruiting for a Civil Site Engineer to join a growing contractor on a long‑term project based in Barnsley, with scope of work around Yorkshire to follow.
This role will involve the first year of works on a major general civils scheme, offering excellent continuity and the opportunity to be part of the project from the outset.
Please note:
This is not a residential or local authority project.
- Earthworks
- Drainage
- General civil engineering works
- Experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects
- Strong setting out and surveying skills
- Experience with earthworks and drainage
- Ability to maintain accurate site records and ensure works are delivered to specification
- Relevant CSCS card and a full UK driving licence
- £45,000-£50,000 salary (depending on experience)
- Long‑term project with the first year of work secured
- Opportunity to work on a major civils scheme with an established contractor
