Overview
Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is pleased to offer a Clinical Fellow / Locally Employed Doctor (LED) role aimed at anaesthetists who are passionate about their career and looking to join a close-knit, dynamic and experienced team to deliver anaesthetic and critical care services. The role is ideally suited to trainees looking to develop their portfolio to re-enter training to achieve CCT or embark on a CESR programme.
Supportand Development
If required, the successful applicant will also benefit from support from the College Tutor and a named Educational Supervisor to help achieve CT3/4 equivalent (stage 1 top-up) training requirements where applicable.
All Trust-appointed doctors are required to engage with continuing professional development guided by the Royal College of Anaesthesia. There is also a programme of mandatory training which all relevant staff must complete as required.
ResponsibilitiesThe postholder will anaesthetise and deliver all aspects of peri-operative care and participate in the middle-grade on‑call rota.
