Are you a passionate Science Teacher looking for a full-time role in Barnsley? An exciting opportunity has become available at a local secondary school, who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team from January through to Easter.

About the Role:

As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-planned Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.

This role offers the opportunity to support pupils’ understanding of scientific concepts while maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver Science lessons in line with the national curriculum

Teach across KS3 and KS4

Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress

Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment

Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Science department

Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Specialism in Science

Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills

Experience teaching in UK secondary schools is desirable

A professional and proactive approach to teaching
