Reeson Education is recruiting an experienced Intervention Teacher for a small SEN Alternative Provision in the Barnsley (S75) area. This role suits a professional who thrives in controlled environments, delivers direct instruction, and uses clear boundaries to drive academic and behavioural progress.

• Targeted Instruction:
  Deliver focused interventions in core subjects tailored to SEN and AP learners.
• Structured Delivery:
  Maintain clear routines, expectations, and lesson structure throughout the school day.
• Behaviour and Regulation:
  Apply firm, consistent strategies to keep pupils calm, focused, and learning‑ready.
• Progress Monitoring:
  Track academic progress, behaviour data, and intervention outcomes accurately.

  Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with SEN staff, behaviour teams, leadership, and external agencies.

• Proven experience within SEN, Alternative Provision, SEMH, or similar specialist settings.
• A strong classroom presence with clear, direct communication.
• Confidence managing challenging behaviour through consistency and authority.
• An organised, proactive, and solution‑focused approach to teaching.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one through Reeson Education.

• Competitive daily rate of GBP
  150‑GBP
  230 depending on experience.
• Full‑time stability within a small, well‑structured AP setting.
• Access to specialist SEN and behaviour training.
• Supportive leadership with clear systems and expectations.
