71 Youth Zone in Barnsley is recruiting enthusiastic Sessional Youth Workers across a wide range of disciplines including Sports, Arts, Recreation, SEND, Health & Wellbeing, and Training Kitchen
. These flexible, sessional roles are ideal for people who are passionate about working with young people aged 8–19 (and up to 25 for SEND), and who want to use their skills—whether creative, active, practical or supportive—to inspire confidence, build life skills and create positive experiences in a safe, inclusive environment.

As a Sessional Youth Worker, you’ll plan and deliver engaging sessions, build positive relationships, and champion safeguarding and inclusion at all times. We’re looking for energetic, reliable individuals with relevant experience or qualifications in their chosen area and a genuine commitment to youth work. Roles are paid at £12.21 per hour
, offer flexible hours (including evenings and weekends), and are subject to enhanced DBS checks.
