HSE Trainer

My client is a well-established market leading industrial construction, operations and maintenance sector and are recruiting for a Health & Safety Trainer to join their existing team, reporting into Barnsley head office and covering locations nationwide. As a Health & Safety Trainer your role will focus on all day-to-day training of all H&S training requirements for all staff and duties will include:

• Delivering mandatory H&S training activities including IOSH Managing Safely / Working Safely
• Identify any training needs within the H&S arena
• Maintain departmental H&S training records, assessment paperwork and data
• Provide technical support to all colleagues
• Work with Training Team to improve the quality of training and learning delivered by the company
• Attend Meetings as and when required

• Minimum of Level 3 Award in Education & Training (AET) or equivalent teaching qualification is essential.
• Have an in-depth understanding of H&S legislation
• Proven experience in training and development
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
• Ability to work under pressure with multiple supervisory staff
• Good report writing skills
• Full UK driving license
