Science Teacher
We are seeking to appoint to the above post and are ideally looking for candidates with the ability to teach physics at KS4.
This is a very exciting time to join our Science department, who are focused on achieving the best possible outcomes for everychild. Underpinning this is the development of a 5-year linear curriculum whichsupports the growing demands of the revised GCSE specification and uses Masteryas its foundation.
There is an excellent mix of experience and talentwithin a team of staff who are passionate about their subject, enthusiastic about innovation, collaborative in their working practices and committed toraising standards. At Horizon, a Science teacher must be someone with a fiercelove of their subject, who is talented, motivated and can inspire students toachieve their full potential. A particular benefit for staff that are new tothe profession is the individually tailored support they will receive withinthe department from Science colleagues with designated mentoring responsibilities.
