Primary Teaching Assistant

Trust Education is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in the S75 area for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 class. This is a part-time, morning-only role running from September through to December, offering a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in Key Stage 1.

The Teaching Assistant Role:

* Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons

* Working with small groups and individual pupils to reinforce learning

* Assisting with classroom organisation and preparation of resources

* Providing support for pupils with a range of learning needs

* Helping to maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Teaching Assistant Candidate Will:

* Have experience working with primary-aged children, ideally within Key Stage 1

* Be patient, caring, and passionate about supporting children’s development

* Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills

* Be reliable, organised, and proactive

* Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
