Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Primary)
Location: Barnsley
Salary: £460 – £600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to support learning across the curriculum, helping pupils to build confidence and achieve their goals. You may provide targeted interventions, support small group activities and contribute to creating a positive and productive classroom environment.

• Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
• Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning
• Assist in implementing intervention programmes and classroom activities
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil participation
• Prepare and organise learning resources when required
• Monitor pupil progress and share feedback with teaching staff
• Help create an inclusive environment where all children can thrive

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Previous experience working within a primary school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, adaptable and proactive approach to supporting learning
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
• A genuine commitment to helping children succeed academically and socially
