We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work part‑time at Bank End Primary Academy.
We always appoint on merit, and we are open to discussing flexible working options.
Working hours: 22.5 hours per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday), term time only.
Salary: £13,419.27 per month (FTE £25,918).
About the roleAs a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Work under the guidance and direction of the class teacher to support pupils’ learning, wellbeing and inclusion, including pupils with SEND.
- Support pupils’ learning, wellbeing and inclusion, including pupils with SEND.
- Work closely with teachers to deliver learning activities and interventions.
- Help create a safe, caring and purposeful classroom environment.
- Encourage pupils’ independence, confidence and self‑esteem.
- Support behaviour, routines and positive relationships.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school.
- Enjoy supporting children to succeed academically and socially.
- Are patient, caring and positive.
- Can build strong relationships with pupils and colleagues.
- Are committed to inclusive education and safeguarding.
Experience of working with children is essential; experience in a school setting is desirable, but we are equally interested in the right values and attitude.
