Reeson Education are seeking a skilled Teacher to work in supportive and well‑established mainstream schools across Barnsley (S71) starting from September 2026. This role is ideal for a teacher who can deliver high‑quality lessons, maintain high expectations, and support students to achieve their full academic potential.
About the Teacher RoleAs a Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across your subject specialism, helping pupils develop confidence, knowledge, and key skills. You will establish clear routines, encourage positive behaviour, and create a productive learning environment that supports academic success and personal development.
Key Responsibilities as Teacher- High‑Quality Teaching:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners and support progress across the curriculum. - Classroom Management:
Maintain positive behaviour, clear routines, and high expectations within the classroom. - Assessment & Feedback:
Assess, monitor, and track pupil achievement, providing constructive feedback to support continued development. - Differentiated Learning:
Adapt teaching strategies and resources to ensure all students can access learning and achieve success. - Collaboration:
Work closely with colleagues, parents, and school leaders to support student achievement and wellbeing.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching within mainstream primary or secondary school settings.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A positive, organised, and resilient approach to teaching and learning.
- A commitment to raising standards and promoting student success.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through Reeson Education.
- Competitive daily rate of £150 - £230 depending on experience.
