About the School:

Barnsley Academy are looking to appoint a determined, ambitious, and inspiring Teacher of Geography to complement the existing department, to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4. The most recent Ofsted report (January 2025) highlights that the school is a welcoming and vibrant place, aspirational for what pupils can achieve, and has high expectations for pupils' behaviour. Inspectors noted that leaders know the school well, ensure staff have the support and training that they need, and that staff feel supported by the school.
