As an English Teacher, you will deliver engaging and challenging lessons that encourage students to develop their reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills. You will create an inclusive learning environment that promotes academic progress, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for English language and literature.

• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Inspire and motivate students to achieve their academic potential
• Assess, monitor, and track student progress effectively
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Prepare students for internal assessments and GCSE examinations
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support whole-school improvement
• Uphold safeguarding and professional standards at all times

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Has experience teaching English at secondary level
• Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Possesses strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Is passionate about raising attainment and supporting student success
  
  Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one
