Milk Education is working closely with a forward‑thinking secondary school in Barnsley that is looking to appoint a committed and inspiring Maths Teacher from September 2026. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to develop strong numerical skills, logical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.

• Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons to students across KS3 and KS4
• Plan and prepare engaging learning activities that challenge and motivate learners
• Support students in developing confidence and fluency in mathematical concepts
• Assess student progress and use data effectively to inform future teaching
• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of students with varying abilities
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and improve outcomes across the department
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold high expectations for learning and behaviour

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Has experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Has a strong understanding of the Mathematics curriculum at KS3 and KS4
• Is passionate about improving student attainment and engagement
• Can build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families
• Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one through Milk Education
