Trust Education is working with a fantastic primary school in Barnsley that is looking to appoint a committed KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a brilliant opportunity to support pupils through an important stage of their primary education, helping them to grow in confidence and achieve their full potential.

• Support teaching and learning across Key Stage 2 classrooms.
• Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions to help pupils reach their learning goals.
• Assist the class teacher in creating an engaging, positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Support pupils of mixed abilities, adapting learning where appropriate.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
• Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies at all times.
• Use initiative while working effectively as part of the wider school team.

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a UK primary school.
• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (such as CACHE Level 2 or Level
  3) is desirable but not essential with suitable experience.
• A good understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• A positive, proactive and reliable approach to supporting children's learning.
• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

Competitive Pay: (dependent on experience, qualifications and responsibilities)
