Trust Education are currently recruiting for a committed and adaptable Full-Time General Cover Teacher to join a welcoming school in Barnsley on a full-time basis, starting ASAP on an ongoing temporary contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a variety of subjects and year groups, supporting pupils in maintaining continuity of learning and engagement in the absence of their regular teacher.

You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons across multiple subjects, ensuring all pupils are supported and challenged appropriately. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, manage behaviour effectively, and provide feedback on pupil progress to support ongoing learning.

• Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience
• Have experience working across a range of subjects and key stages
• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Be enthusiastic, adaptable and confident covering different subjects
• Have strong communication and organisational skills
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
