We are currently recruiting English Lecturers and Teachers across South Yorkshire to deliver A Level, GCSE, and Functional Skills English within schools and FE colleges. Whether you specialise in academic pathways or resit provision, we have opportunities to suit your experience.
The RoleYou will deliver high-quality English teaching across A Level, GCSE, and/or Functional Skills, supporting learners to achieve strong outcomes and progress into further education, apprenticeships, or employment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across your specialism
- Teach A Level, GCSE and/or Functional Skills English
- Differentiate lessons to support mixed-ability and resit learners
- Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Support learners with exam preparation, coursework, and confidence building
- Contribute to curriculum delivery and departmental success
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
