PERMANENT

£16.35 to £17.85 per hour

Actual Salary: £23,672 to £26,801

Spinal Points 18 to 23

32.5 Hours, Term Time Only plus 2 INSET days

We are looking for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) who can deliver lessons across the primary range (Nursery to Year
6) to support PPA cover, cover when teachers are absent from school and provide release time for teachers and leaders.

The role may also include working with groups of children within the class and interventions outside the classroom. The right person will have the drive and ambition to support our children across the school to ensure they get the very best opportunities and provision whilst inspiring a love for learning.

We are looking for a candidate who:
  • Has a HLTA qualification (Level 4 or equivalent)
  • Is able to deliver learning activities to whole classes in Early Years, Key Stage 1 and 2
  • Has a proven track record of delivering high quality interventions
  • Is committed to raising standards and meeting the needs of individual children
  • Is committed to diversity and inclusion
  • Is positive, enthusiastic and a team-player
  • Is self-motivated, resilient, flexible and able to use own initiative
  • Applicants must hold English and mathematics qualifications, at least GCSE Grade C or equivalent
