Barnsley Music Service are seeking to recruit a Guitar Tutor to commence employment from the week commencing January 2027.
The role involves:- Teaching Guitar/Ukulele to whole classes of around 30 Key Stage Two age children in Primary Schools
- Teaching Guitar to small groups (3-4 children) and individuals in primary and secondary schools throughout the borough
- Working 5 days per week
- Opportunity to work with an outstanding team of music tutors, with amazing young people and in excellent schools
- Permanent, salaried position on Teachers' terms and conditions (unqualified scale 3-6) with pay during school holidays
- Term time working pattern with the benefit of school holidays
- Access to Teachers' pension
- Corporate Laptop and support
Interviews will take place face to face in Barnsley on or after 2nd October 2026
