Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant post at Milefield Primary School, supporting teaching and learning so that every pupil can access the curriculum. Work involves structured support for individuals, small groups and whole classes under the direction of the class teacher, with planning, assessment and progress monitoring alongside teachers. The role is distinct for its focus on pupils with SEND, delivering targeted interventions and building independence.

• Provide structured support to individuals, small groups and the wider class under the class teacher's direction
• Adapt approaches to meet a range of needs, including pupils with SEND
