X-Ray Field Service Engineer
As an X‑Ray Field Service Engineer, you deliver technical support, maintenance and repair services for Agfa Radiology’s state‑of‑the‑art imaging products. You will be travelling to customer sites, and be responsible for installation, commissioning, maintenance and servicing of imaging equipment and associated ICT/electrical equipment, ensuring proper functioning and optimal performance of our products. You act as a liaison between Agfa Radiology Solutions and our customers to ensure satisfaction and timely resolution of technical issues.
Responsibilities- Work in cooperation with Agfa’s Shared Service Centre to carry out service, maintenance, updates and installation of products.
- Maintain all test equipment, tools and company property in good and working order and process spare parts in accordance with policy.
- Expand your knowledge and that of colleagues and customers, ensuring continuous development and improvement.
- Build relationships and maintain team working with all internal and external partners.
- Adhere to regulatory requirements and company’s policies and work procedures.
- Identify and report situations impacting customer satisfaction and/or contractual obligations.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team within the organisation to ensure achievement of goals.
- You have an HNC/D degree in electromechanics, electronics, computer science or engineering; alternatively qualified by extensive experience.
- Ideally you have previous field service experience where you have undertaken similar type of work.
- You have strong IT, Microsoft Office and networking infrastructure skills.
- You hold a full UK driving licence.
- You have an HNC or ONC degree in electromechanics, electronics, computer science or equal, or you have at least a few years’ experience in a similar role.
- You have excellent problem‑solving skills.
- You have experience in working in a medical environment.
- You have a valid driving licence cat
