Electrical Design Engineer (Industrial Machinery) – Sheffield (Commutable to Barnsley)

Are you an Electrical Design Engineer with a background working within LV/MV environments or similar looking to join an expanding business in a brand-new role working across a variety of sectors with blue‑chip clients with the opportunity to progress long‑term as the business grows?

On offer is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist engineering business delivering multi‑disciplinary turnkey projects across a range of industrial sectors. The company has built a strong reputation for delivering high‑quality electrical and control engineering solutions, covering design, manufacture, installation and commissioning works.

In predominantly office‑based role, you will take responsibility for electrical engineering systems. You will be involved in electrical system design, technical specifications, and you will also support engagement throughout the full project lifecycle – from overseeing the design, manufacture, installation and commissioning. You will also have the opportunity to go to site and oversee the design implementation up to twice a week.

£50,000 – £65,000 per annum (subject to experience) + Mon‑Fri + Company Benefits

• Electrical system design for ELV, LV & MV installations
• Office and site based
• Conducting risk assessments and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Supporting installation, commissioning and project handovers

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Commutable to Barnsley
