Here, you'll be working for a manufacturer of equipment often found in the labs of manufacturers, universities and heavy industry.
They're seeking a field service engineer to join an existing team.
Your Role as a Field Service Engineer- Conducting ppm, service, and breakdown repairs to equipment found in materials testing and preparation labs.
- Being hands‑on with mechanical and electrical equipment, along with some electronic fault‑finding.
- Visiting some desirable manufacturing and research facilities.
- You'll be accessing some equipment remotely too to carry out diagnostics.
- You’ll have a good engineering understanding from a mechanical and electrical perspective.
- This role would also suit an engineer from the armed forces.
- The service manager is ex‑forces too.
- Existing field service experience is advantageous.
- Excellent communication & teamwork skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Right to work in the UK as no sponsorship provided.

The Package for the Field Service Engineer- £35,000 - £39,000 basic salary, depending on experience
