Finance Analyst

Sharp Consultancy are pleased to be partnering with a well established Barnsley based manufacturer to appoint a talented Finance Analyst on a permanent basis. Our client is a recognised name within the manufacturing sector, operating across a national distribution network and supplying a vast product range to a broad customer base.

This newly created position has arisen in response to increased business demand and the continued expansion of the FP&A function. The role provides a genuinely hands on remit with clear ownership of business planning, reporting and key commercial processes. The role offers a strong balance of strategic value add and forward looking financial and commercial insight.

In my opinion, this opportunity is ideally suited to qualified finance professionals with the capability to lead commercial and financial modelling activity. It presents genuine scope for influence within an ambitious, growing manufacturing organisation.

• Salary between £55,000 - £60,000

• Lead the monthly revenue forecasting cycle and annual planning process
• Produce weekly flash reports that clearly highlight emerging trends and key performance drivers
• Take full ownership of business wide KPI reporting
• Support gross profit forecasting and analysis, closely monitoring cost drivers, margin performance and underlying commercial dynamics
• Develop and maintain the annual budget and business planning model
• Provide robust financial analysis and reporting, contributing to informed commercial decision making across the wider organisation
• Lead on financial modelling activity, enhancing the responsiveness, robustness and strategic value of core models
• Drive continuous improvement of financial modelling, reporting frameworks, and analytical processes
• Utilise Power BI to enhance reporting quality, insight, and accessibility for stakeholders

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified
