Accounts Assistant: Core Finance Support Long-Term

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day‑to‑day running of the finance function and assisting with all aspects of transactional finance across the business.

• Processing high volumes of purchase ledger invoices accurately and efficiently
• Raising and processing sales invoices
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice queries
• Performing daily bank reconciliations
• Assisting with credit control and chasing outstanding payments
• Preparing supplier payment runs
• Supporting payroll administration and employee expenses
• Assisting with month‑end procedures and reporting
• Maintaining accurate financial records and data entry
• Providing general administrative support to the finance department

• Previous experience within an accounts or finance administration role
• Experience working within a fast‑paced environment would be advantageous
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Confident communicator with the ability to build strong working relationships
• A proactive and flexible approach to work
