Beyond Talent Solutions are delighted to be partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Barnsley to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied finance role, thrives in a busy environment and is looking for a long-term opportunity within a supportive and friendly team.

The Role

You’ll play an important role within the finance team, supporting with a variety of day-to-day accounting and finance duties, including:

Processing purchase invoices

Raising sales invoices

Allocating payments and resolving invoice queries

Credit control, including chasing outstanding invoices and managing customer accounts

Handling customer and supplier invoice queries

Completing bank reconciliations

Supporting the wider finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks

General finance administration and ad-hoc duties as required

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

Confident communicating with customers and internal stakeholders

Organised, reliable and able to manage their own workload

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Keen to develop their finance experience

A team player with a positive, hands-on approach

Previous experience within an accounts or finance environment would be beneficial.
