As a Health Care Assistant, you’ll be part of a supportive team and help make every day better for the people we support. You’ll support adults living with complex care needs to live their best lives while also developing valuable skills and experience.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand new team, in a state of the art, purpose built home. You’ll have the chance to really make your mark.

Springfield Vale is part of Exemplar Health Care, one of the country’s leading nursing care providers for adults living with complex and high acuity needs.

When open, Springfield Vale will provide nursing care for adults living with complex needs arising from dementia.

We’ve partnered with Sterling University to design Springfield Vale as a purpose-built home, that follows their principles of dementia design, creating an environment that supports the cognitive and physical needs of people with dementia.

Once open, you’ll work towards achieving Sterling Universities accreditation and making Springfield Vale a leading home for complex dementia care.

Our Health Care Assistants support people to live their best lives, whatever that looks like to them.

No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• supporting people with their personal care
• assisting people at meal times
• understanding individual health and wellbeing needs
• encouraging and supporting people to take part in social activities
  , both in and out of the home
• promoting choice,
  dignity
  , independence and respect
• completing and maintaining care records
