Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload requiring dietetic intervention in the community, including care homes, supported living, clinics and patients' own homes.
- Provide dietetic assessment and intervention for a range of conditions including specialist interventions such as enteral feeding, patients with learning disabilities and those requiring complex nutrition support.
- Work as part of our team of dietitians and dietetic assistants.
- Maintain a patient‑centred approach in line with our Trust values.
- Work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
- Possess excellent communication/interpersonal skills to negotiate and build rapport with patients, carers and families.
- Work with key members of the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to provide individualised advice, support & care plans to patients.
- Demonstrate excellent time management, prioritisation & organisational skills.
- Participate in education & staff development, clinical supervision and the delivery of dietetic student training.
- Excellent team‑working, communication, organisational and time‑management skills.
- Commitment to continuing professional development (CPD).
- UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
- Contribution to the training of student dietitians.

The post is varied and interesting, and we are looking for a Dietitian with the necessary skills and experience to be able to cover a range of community dietetics including community clinics, some complex nutrition support for people who are housebound and home enteral nutrition.
