This role supports individuals with acquired brain injury to regain skills, confidence and independence, with the aim of returning home or moving to more independent living. You will work alongside our neurotherapy team to implement goals and strategies in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Whether you are a career changer or seeking real clinical experience within a therapeutic environment, this role will be fulfilling and interesting. Working in a brain injury rehabilitation service is fast-paced and can involve helping people regain lost skills and confidence.

Responsibilities- Support individuals with an acquired brain injury to regain skills, confidence and independence with the aim to return home or achieve more independent living.
- Work alongside the neurotherapy team to implement goals and strategies for rehabilitation.
- Contribute to a varied, proactive, and positive team environment; support individuals to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
- Participate in a role that includes all aspects of personal care as needed, on a rota basis including evenings and weekends.
- Engage in the development and delivery of care and rehabilitation plans under training and mentoring.
- Support career development opportunities, including management training programmes.
- Kind and caring with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Enjoys working in a team and in a varied role where each day is different.
- Interested in people, rehabilitation, and learning new things.
- Practical life experience and a proactive, grounded approach.
- Willingness to learn; extensive care experience is not required as training and mentoring are provided.
