Summary:
As the Senior SEND Officer, you will be responsible for the complex casework, including EOTAS cases, ensuring high standards of practice and compliance with statutory requirements. You will oversee the entire statutory Education, Health and Care (EHC) process, including referral, assessment, and annual review for children and young people. Additionally, you will handle a small caseload and prepare documents for tribunal and mediation to resolve disputes effectively.
Required Skills &
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a Senior Caseworker role or similar Extensive knowledge of the statutory frameworks surrounding SEND, including the Children and Families Act 2014. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage both people and processes effectively. Excellent communication, mediation, and interpersonal skills, capable of handling sensitive situations diplomatically. Perks and benefits:
