Maintenance Assistant

Overview

Join us where the forest hides secret glades and sunlight filters through the trees at Keldy Forest. This is a live-in only position with on-site accommodation provided.

Location:

Keldy (North Yorkshire). Salary: £12.21 per hour.

Working Hours:

Full-time, 38 hours per week. Days of Work: 2 week rolling rota. Week 1:
Monday to Friday (Weekend off) / Week 2:
Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat and Sun (Wed and Thurs off). Live-in accommodation is available at a discounted monthly rent (£140 pcm including all utilities, wifi and on-site parking in a modest flat). The position includes all utilities and offers significant annual savings.

Maintenance/Operations context:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance/Operations Assistant to join our Keldy team. This is a live-in only position. Open all year round, the Operations Assistant plays a vital role in creating an exceptional guest experience.

• Ensuring hot tubs are in perfect working order every day for our guests.
• Completing general maintenance tasks, including using tools, fixing machinery, and decorating (basic knowledge desirable).
• Paying attention to the little details and delivering daily tasks in a timely and competent manner.
• Delivering exceptional customer service and following brand standards to ensure guests experience the Forest Feeling from the moment they step into their cabin.

• A positive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic.
• The ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Great attention to detail, ensuring high cleanliness standards are met.
• Some previous experience in a similar role.
• A willingness to work outdoors in a natural setting, whatever the weather.
• A full clean UK driving license is essential.

Pay rates for aged 16 and 17: 16 years: £7.55 per hour; 17 years: £10.00 per hour.
