Hours:

Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

We have partnered with a leading manufacturing company, specialising in recycling, quarry, aggregate machinery, who, due to continued success, are looking to recruit a Recycling Plant Fitter. The successful applicant will complete preventative and reactive maintenance, attend breakdowns, and assist with installations across the local area.

• Ensure recycling, quarry and aggregate plant equipment is functioning correctly.
• Service, maintenance and repair of balers, compactors, shredders, sortation machinery, and mobile plant machinery.
• Maintain all equipment on site, such as conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, valves, PLC controlled equipment, sortation equipment, and balers.
• Maintain all mechanical and electrical process equipment.
• Maintain balers, compactors and shredding machinery.
• Fault finding and diagnostics.
• Follow a PPM schedule and record follow up work.
• Ensure appropriate housekeeping standards are maintained on a daily basis.
• Continually develop to improve operations to drive improvements in quality, cost and safety.
• Assist production with machinery problems and setups, providing relevant training when appropriate.

• Experience in servicing, maintaining and repairing recycling, quarry or aggregate plant equipment.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, PLCs, and fault diagnostics.
• Ability to work across the local area and adapt to installations and breakdowns.
• Strong housekeeping and safety awareness.
