Flexographic Printer

To operate printing presses to produce printed labels while ensuring a high level of quality is maintained throughout. The role will also include the use of turrets, sheeters and fan-folders on the presses.

Experience of operating Mark Andy or Focus presses is an advantage, but not essential.

Monday to Thursday 7.15am until 4.55pm

• Identifying and loading the substrates onto the presses.
• Inserting and removing rotary die cutting tools.
• Setting the print correctly to meet quality standards.
• Colour matching
• Continuous quality monitoring
• Operating the presses to ensure maximum efficiency is achieved while minimising waste.
• Completing all required paperwork.
• Always working in a safe manner and reporting any issues.
• Ensure that all duties are undertaken in compliance with the company's policies and procedures
• Being able to take on any duties as required to meet the needs of the business

• Able to work under pressure and adhere to strict delivery deadlines.
• A logical thinker.
• Pro‑active with a ‘can do’ attitude.
• Able to recognise good quality and deal accordingly with any fluctuations from this.
