Looking for a leadership role with a successful, well-invested food manufacturer? This is a Shift Production Manager opportunity where you'll be given the autonomy to develop, and support your team while playing a key role in the ongoing success of the site. As Shift Production Manager, you'll have real influence over both operational performance and team development within a growing business that values its people.

About the Role

As Shift Production Manager, you will be the most senior person on site during nights and some of your key responsibilities will include:

Leading your department to ensure all departmental KPIs are achieved and customer orders are fulfilled.
Leading, coaching, and mentoring your team to drive engagement and maintain high levels of performance.
Promoting a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging your team to look for more effective ways of working.
Ensuring all work is carried out safely, with a strong focus on product quality.

About You

This is an ideal opportunity for a Production Manager looking for a new challenge, or a Shift Manager or Supervisor looking to step into a Production Manager position for the first time.

Strong team leadership skills gained in food manufacturing, with chilled, high-risk experience being ideal but not essential.
Demonstrable knowledge of lean manufacturing, GMP, and CI tools and techniques.
A collaborative, people-focused approach, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
Ability to plan and prioritise orders and workloads quickly and effectively to meet customer requirements.
Proven track record of ensuring Health & Safety compliance.
