CNC Flat Bed Router Operator

Hours:
Monday to Thursday, 07:00 – 17:30 Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Role We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based in Barnsley for an experienced CNC Flat Bed Router Operator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business working a four-day week, offering a great work-life balance and long weekends every week.
Key Responsibilities of a CNC Operator Set up and operate CNC flat bed routing machinery. Load materials and ensure correct machine settings are applied. Interpret technical drawings, specifications and work instructions. Monitor machining processes and make adjustments where required. Carry out quality inspections to ensure products meet customer specifications. Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping duties. Work safely and adhere to all health and safety procedures.
Assist with general production activities when required. Candidate Requirements of a CNC Operator Previous experience operating CNC flat bed routers or similar CNC machinery. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively within a team.
