Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are currently looking to recruit a Multi‑Skilled Engineer (Mechanical Bias) for our food manufacturing client based in Hoyland, Barnsley (S74).

Working Hours:

SET DAY SHIFT
Monday to Friday
(08:00–16:00)

Salary: £40,000–£45,000 per annum

A quick snapshot of the role:

* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery

* Mechanical fault‑finding, strip‑downs, repairs, and component replacement

* Supporting electrical tasks where needed (basic diagnostics, resets, safe isolation)

* Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime and improve reliability

* Contributing to continuous improvement, efficiency upgrades, and site projects

* Ensuring all work meets food‑safety and hygiene standards
