Overview
Bench Joiner/Fire Door Manufacture – Barnsley
£14.00 - £18.00 per hour
07:30 - 16:00 Monday to Friday
Immediate Starts available
The RoleYou will be responsible for manufacturing fire doors to specification, ensuring all products meet quality and compliance standards.
Responsibilities- Manufacture fire doors and associated products from technical drawings
- Measure, mark, cut, shape and assemble timber, laminates and composite materials
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Complete finishing work to a high standard
- Ensure products meet quality requirements and fire door regulations
- Work closely with the production team to achieve deadlines
- Read and interpret technical drawings accurately
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment
- Previous experience as a Bench Joiner, Workshop Joiner or Fire Door Manufacturer
- Experience using woodworking machinery and hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively within a team
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred
- On-going Assignments throughout 2026
