Loader, Manufacturing ​/ Production, Material Handler

Pro-Found Recruitment are looking to recruit a number of Loaders for our client based in Grimethorpe, Barnsley

Loader Benefits:

Various shifts available:

• 3 rotating shifts: 6am
  -2pm/2pm to 10pm & 10pm to 6am - 16.31 to 17.36 per hour

• 2 rotating shifts: 7am - 3pm and 2pm to 10pm - 13.83 to 16.31 per hour
  

• 2 rotating shifts: 7am - 3.30pm and 4pm to Midnight - 13.83 to 16.31 per hour

These are all rotating shifts you can not pick a static shift

• Total: 39 hours per week, paid weekly
• Start date:
  
  ASAP - no holidays approved in the first 12 weeks as this is the crucial training period
• Pay Rates:
  Shift dependent from 13.83 to 17.36 per hour - rates of pay include an attendance bonus
• Contract:
  
  Temporary to Permanent
• Location:
  
  Grimethorpe, Barnsley

Loader Duties:

• Loading cabinets
• Manual handling heavy items
• Ensuring best use and maximisation of space
• Quality checking of materials and finished products
• Checking items are packed and taped correctly
• Following instructions and working to a structured work plan
• General Housekeeping
• Working on your own and as part of a team

Loader Criteria:

• Previous loading experience is essential to be considered for this role
• Hard working, reliable and punctual
• Good hand-eye coordination and balance
• Experience of joinery/carpentry preferred but not essential
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions
• Awareness of workplace health and safety
• Physically fit and able to move heavy items in and around the area
• Good work ethic and prepared to learn new skills

Please note this is a very physically demanding role and requires regular manual handling as part of the day to day duties
