We are seeking a proactive Team Leader - CNC Machining to oversee a busy production area within a modern manufacturing environment in Barnsley. Working alongside production and engineering teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring operational targets are achieved whilst maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and product quality.

Team Leader - CNC Machining
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate and support a team of production operatives within a CNC machining environment.
Coordinate daily activities to ensure production schedules and delivery targets are achieved.
Monitor productivity, quality performance and operational KPIs, implementing improvements where required.
Promote a strong health & safety culture, ensuring all procedures and standards are consistently followed.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and 5S principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor or similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and production operations.
Experience of working with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and process optimisation techniques.
Ability to effectively plan workloads and coordinate resources to achieve production objectives.
Confident user of Microsoft Office and manufacturing or ERP systems.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage, coach and develop team members.
Quality-focused approach with excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
